When you get to where you want to be

You know, this has been a pretty good blog over the past two or three years, but I always feel like I'm trying to watch what I post to keep it from becoming a food blog, because there are already too many of those. So instead of posting pictures of food I think of long, drawn-out things to write about, and I start writing something or I think of a clever post title, and then I never finish and it's the 30th of the month and what have I done? I don't think this kind of short-term minimally-revised public journal is really useful for where I am in my life right now, although maybe it was when I started.

Well, maybe this blog just wants to be a food blog, and maybe posting pictures of food is what I should be doing. But maybe it should have a new name if I'm going to do that, to reflect its change in focus.

Anyway, I think that over there is where I'm going to be chronicling my life for the foreseeable future. So, yo, I'll catch you over there!
